Photo Friday #73: four hundred

Post #400! Not post #3.14. I can understand the confusion, but this was the best I could do. There are surprisingly few 400s in my life to photograph.

Yesterday, for the first time, I saw the mobile version of the front page of this blog. I was using my iPod in the kitchen, bringing up the recipe for peanut butter oatmeal cookies (company coming tomorrow! cookies must be made!), when I realized that my blog is magically formatted into little blurbs with a thumbnail for mobile devices. Huh! Well, I’ll be.

[You’d think I would have noticed that in the last year and a half I’ve been doing this, but no. Considering my sidebar still claimed I lived in Nashville until earlier this week, it’s fairly obvious that I’m barely getting my post content together, let alone overall design.]

At first I thought I’d somehow gone to the wrong website, because that didn't look like a jumble of random thoughts and middling photography, it looked like a real blog.. But then I realized those blurbs were my photos, my words. And in that moment, I thought, that looks like something that blogger will be proud of, something that she’ll be glad she did someday. Something I’m glad I’m doing today.

Cheers to four hundred, dear reader. Thanks for sticking around.

Congrats on #400!! Your blog is the first one I read every morning and I love it. I would be sad if it went away. :-(

Same sentiments as Rachel C... My routine is breakfast in the kitchen with coffee carried to the den afterwards for blog and email reading - & you're #1. Except for Saturday and Sunday - then I'm sorta lost for awhile until I realize it is the weekend... Thanks again Hon for being my anchor!
