Labor away

Happy holiday, errybody! To observe the holiday, I decided to take a little break from blogging. But otherwise, just like every day... I’m laboring away at my projects.

Perhaps you’re also tacking some projects today! In that case, here’s some tips and inspiration for you from selected projects past.

If you’re in the mood to paint:

Painting kitchen cabinets

Painting striped walls

Painting the backs of bookshelves

The art of cutting in

Or perhaps stain:

The Little House Blog RAST dresser makeover

Refinishing a builder-basic vanity

Staining a deck

Or make some décor:

Faux gold leaded mirrors

Mount a poster on canvas

Easy anniversary art

The infamous stenciled canvas art

Or make something with fabric:

Cloth napkin pillow covers

Table runners and placemats

Easy-peasy upholstered headboard

No-sew curtains

No-sew faux roman shade

Or spruce up the outdoors:

Making a address-number wreath

Clearing out weeds

Moving plants around & adding mulch

Repainting the front door

Or take care of minor repairs:

Fixing a broken sink drain

Patching a stripped screw

Repairing a rotted windowsill

Re-caulking a shower door

Replacing old light fixtures

Or even undertake a major reno project:

Installing hardwood flooring

Installing new kitchen countertops

Installing board & batten shelving

That ought to keep you busy, right? Happy laboring, everyone!
